H1N1? (Warning:Entering TFH Zone)

Last year, economic collapse and social disorder seemed very possible, if not probable. To combat it the gov't. cranked up the printing presses and legalized accounting fraud for the financial institutions. Also, H1N1 arrived on the scene, a pandemic was declared and O declared a "Medical Emergency". As time went on, the chances of collapse and the "summer of rage" declined as did, curiously   , the potency of H1N1.

Now it's a new year, collapse and rage are even more certain and the "Medical Emergency" is still in place. I have this bad feeling that the H1N1 WAS the weapon of control we were thought it was, but was put back in the holster as tensions receded. I expect it will be drawn again soon. I know I'm talking conspiracy theory, but there wasn't much about H1N1 that didn't SCREAM conspiracy theory. As things deteriorate, it's still a potent weapon of mass control.

yeah I second that and think it will be back with a vengance this time.  Especially since his friends in the drug industry didn't make the money they wanted to or wait correct that, the governements are stuck with vaccine they bought that aint doin nothin.

I agree that the entire H1N1 thing was not for nothing and we haven't heard the last of it.  And the very fact that the "Medical Emergency" is still in place tells me they still have plans for it.

But, how's this for a little extra "sauce" in the recipe...

H1N1 "mutates" over the coming months.  Current vaccines are discovered to no longer be effective against the new strain.  Big pharma, always ready to jump in and lend a hand, begin cranking out a new batch, at a modest (    ) cost to the governments of the world.

They still get their pandemic, but they get to dig in the barrel for a few more rounds of cash.

But Stu, please don't be so darned cynical. Just think of how many jobs will be "saved and created" by Big Pharma! Between Big Pharma's efforts and the "mutated" virus thinning the ranks of the unemployed, we could see a marked improvement in the jobs picture even yet this year. So how 'bout a little less cynicism and sarcasm here. Sheeesh, the glass really is half-full (and bright red). Mmmmm, that tastes good!
